Reports to the Aviation Maintenance Division Manager and DAT QA Manager. Establish, refine, and maintain mission and quality assurance program policies, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with the Aviation Performance Work Statement (PWS), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Subcontractor Statements of Work (SSOW), and other contractual requirements. Work directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted IAW the Business System Manual (BSM). Generate results-based quantitative assessment of contract performance for use by external stakeholders. Provide expertise and guidance on interpreting policies, governmental regulations, and agency procedures. Liaise between the company and various foreign and domestic government agencies.
B. Independence: Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Subordinate QSMA personnel
A. Education Level: Bachelor Degree, or civilian experience can substitute for educational requirement
B. Experience: 5-10 years of related work experience in quality/mission assurance or aviation/base operations. Aviation maintenance QA experience is preferred.
C. Specific Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: Possess strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate well in English. Possess strong customer relationship skills.
D. Other: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Possess valid driver’s license. Attend the following formal training courses upon employment as soon as mission permits: Total Quality Management (or equivalent), AS9100/9110:2016, and Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent).
