Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Production Control clerk under the direction of the production control manager. Participate in the coordination of the scheduling of aircraft to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, and Customer mission requirements. Plan, schedule, and streamline all scheduled maintenance actions to afford Vinnell Arabia and MNG Aviation Command maximum flexibility with aircraft availability and readiness. Streamline work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time while improving aircraft maintenance operations and readiness. Train selected MNG Aviation Command personnel to develop and maintain an effective Production Control management system and conduct effective Production Control operations. Produce daily status and other readiness reports as required. Ensure that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Establish daily maintenance organizational goals, objectives and priorities for implementation in order to achieve stated OR rates.
Report inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities to the QC Manager.
Conducts daily production control meeting for coordination and synchronization of all aviation maintenance support functions.
Coordinates maintenance training activities and requirements with the Training Manager.
Supports a professional development program in support of Saudization-localization.
Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner.
Responsible to coordinate with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for matters relating to aircraft maintenance, airframes, warranties and downed aircraft recovery team (DART) activities.
Ensure all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Complete all aircraft reports and daily status IAW AR 700-138.
Supervisory Responsibilities: As assigned by the PC Manager
Education Level: High School diploma
Experience: Five years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance. 5 Years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician. 2 years’ experience as a Production Control Clerk. 5 years Supervisory experience in aviation maintenance for required. Ten years’ experience as aviation Production Control Officer or Supervisor desired. Experience in AH-64, OH-58D, MD-530, and AH-6i maintenance experience desired.
Be able to use aviation enterprise logistics systems e.g. ULLS-Ae, computer hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft forms and other aircraft related documentation.
Be able to use Microsoft Office Suite to prepare various reports, charts and other related documents. Excel experience is a must.
Ability to communicate both orally and written.
Ability to effectively deal with people in the supervision of staff and team members.
Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
