Responsible for: Serves as the central point of contact for administrative support and Logistics operational support coordination for the ALTD team. Responsible directly to the Division Manager to ensure that all internal and external activities are coordinated, planned, conducted and executed in a timely, complete and accurate manner.

A. Duties/responsibilities:

  1. Analyzes designs, develops, coordinates staffs and publishes plans, policies, programs and other procedural documents in support of Logistics and Transportation Operations for ALTD.
  2. Updates and maintains ALTD operational SOPs.
  3. Keen understanding of communication systems.
  4. Serves as the ALTD team central point of contact for the administrative and Airfield coordination activities and deliverables for ALTD personnel and other personnel support activities as assigned.

B. Independence: Reports to the Division Manager and coordinates with the DAT Team Operations Coordinator. Works within the policies and procedures of contractor.  Authority to coordinate staff functions to meet goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.


C. Supervisory Responsibilities: None, Responsible for assisting the division manager.


A. Education Level: High School Diploma required. Military training in Operations (Logistics) desired.  Graduate of Noncommissioned Officers Basic Course preferred. Graduate of Noncommissioned Officer Advanced Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course or Officer Advanced Course desired. 


B. Experience: Three years’ experience in coordinating flight/airfield operations required.  Six years’ experience in the U.S. Army at an Aviation Battalion and/or higher level in operations, training development and management desired.


C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Knowledge of policies, principles, and procedures of military staff organization and flight/airfield operations.  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.  Ability to deal effectively with people in the interaction and coordination of staff.  Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.  Knowledge of pertinent KSA (Labor Law), SANG and OPM-SANG operational procedures concerning job related activities desired.  Proficient in MS Office Professional software required (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook and Publisher). Proficient in Microsoft Project highly desired.  Possess a valid drivers’ license.
