Eastern Region New Equipment Training


Supervise all warehousing operations for materiel procured by MNG via FMS funding. Plan, direct, and implement materiel control plans, policies, and procedures.   Provide quality assurance and quality control for receipt, storage, and distribution actions. Account for repair parts, BII, and other items received and stored in the warehouses.

A. Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and account for warehousing operations at several non-contiguous storage facilities for all FMS materiel in support of MNG, OPM, and the Contractor.
  2. Maintain separate storage for sensitive or controlled items as appropriate and necessary.
  3. Coordinate the inventory and de-processing of LAV and associated LAV equipment.
  4. Store and account for items being held because of OPM direction or MNG requested delays in issue.
  5. Determine operational requirements for receipt, storage, and issue of materiel.
  6. Operate LAV vehicles and all materiel and handling equipment to include forklifts, cargo trucks, and other transportation vehicles.
  7. Ensure the jobsite and storage areas are properly maintained to provide a clean and safe environment.
  8. Establish and maintain material/parts data base within the Sang Supply System (SSS).
  9. Perform other mission-related tasks as directed.

B. Independence: Works under the direct supervision of the Eastern Region Maintenance Branch (ERMB) Manager. Provides coordination with the FMSSB Case Manager as required.


C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises two (2) FMS personnel.


A. Education Level: Associate degree preferred.


B. Experience: Minimum ten (10) years operational experience in US Military warehousing operations, including five years in supervisory positions.


C. Specific knowledge, skill, ability requirements: Formal training in military logistics and supply procedures at least senior logistics NCO level required. Must have detailed knowledge of all areas of warehouse operations.   Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the Sang Supply system. Must possess a valid vehicle driver’s license. Must know how to operate materiel and handling equipment.
