  • Overview

    Responsible for all scheduled/unscheduled maintenance of assigned support equipment to the level of  your sites capability; recording the daily mileage and hourly inspections on vehicles; daily maintenance, troubleshooting and fault isolation of assigned equipment.

     

    A. Duties/responsibilities:

    1. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned ground support equipment, material handling equipment (Caterpillar 10K and below) and generators (100KW and below).
    2. Maintain maintenance log books and records on equipment.
    3. Order required parts and materials from the supply system and advises Logistics Representative of inventory requirements.
    4. Operate and maintain special test equipment and tools; including monitoring calibration requirements.
    5. Support the FOD Program and maintain a clean and orderly work area in the shop and on the flight line

    B. Independence: Follows instructions of the vehicle GSE maintenance lead.

     

    C. Supervisory Responsibilities: none

    Qualifications

    A. Education Level: Civilian High School diploma or equivalent. US ARMY 91B MOS or equivalent armed services course preferred.  

     

    B. Experience: Four (4) years of recent experience working on diesel and gasoline generators, material handling equipment (10K and below)

     

    C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Knowledgeable in working with technical maintenance manuals. Ability to communicate in English. Work safely and an ability to work well with others.

     

    D. Other: Able to follow instructions. Lift and carry 20 kilos.  Possesses a valid driver’s license
