The Quality, Safety & Mission Assurance Director will focus on the development, implementation and management of multiple programs within the Quality Management System (QMS), process efficiency and effectiveness evaluation, identification of systemic issues, recommendations for preventive actions, implementation of corrective actions, and administration of the MNG Preventive/Corrective Action Review Board (PCAB). This position will report directly to the GM of Vinnell Arabia LLC with a concurrent requirement to maintain a reporting relationship with the Northrop Grumman QSMA Director. The Director of Vinnell Arabia QSMA will be responsible for driving and improving program quality performance across the full spectrum of Vinnell operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
B. Independence: Performs duties under supervision and guidance of GM, performs within broad objectives with significant choice of methods/procedures.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises one (1) subordinate QAQC.
A. Education Level: BS/BA degree. Preferred: Master Degree. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
B. Experience: 10 years minimum of Program Management, Mission Assurance and/or Quality Assurance. International program experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia. Knowledge and experience in the full lifecycle of risk and opportunity management. Experience in developing performance predictive metrics. Strong measurement and analysis skills. Experience with the development of supplier quality requirements and performing supplier assessments. Working knowledge of or experience with a Quality Management System (QMS) that includes Quality, Supplier, Systems and Program Assurance processes consistent with international QMS standards. Preferred: Experience with aircraft/ground vehicle maintenance and training organizational needs. Experience with ISO9001/AS9100/AS9110, including audit performance.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Must have a successful track record in leading and driving change into an organization with successful, quantified business results. Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA) techniques. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred: Subject Matter expert in Risk and Opportunity Management (ability to teach; mentor; and develop training materials for Risk and Opportunity Management). Working knowledge of or experience with configuration and data management. Possess a U.S. Driver’s License.
