  • Overview

    Work directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted in accordance with (IAW) the Business System Manual (BSM). Implement document control, data management, and records maintenance practices IAW the Aviation Business Management System (BMS). Ensure compliance with the Aviation Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). Prepare quantitative data for use by stakeholders.

    A. Duties/Responsibilities:

    1. Conduct periodic audits during maintenance procedures with technical inspectors to ensure compliance with AS9110.
    2. Implement AS9100/9110 compliant data, document, and record management products, processes, and procedures.
    3. Maintain/retain Corrective Action Requests (CARs), root cause analyses, and consequent Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
    4. Implement performance measurement and data collection methodology for the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
    5. Utilize organizational communication products for the continual process improvement program, subsequent change management plans, processes, procedures, standards, KPIs, and effectiveness measurements.
    6. Participate in the development of appropriate communication, knowledge, and project status reporting procedures.
    7. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Quality, Safety, and Mission Assurance (QSMA) Manager.

    B. Independence: Works under the guidance of the QSMA Manager.


    C. Supervisory Responsibilities: None


    A. Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.

    B. Experience: 5-10 years of aviation related work experience. Quality assurance, aviation maintenance operations management, aviation maintenance, and aviation logistics experience are preferred. 

    C. Specific Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate well in English. Possess strong customer relationship skills. Demonstrated motivation for continual improvement and professional development.

    D. Other: Attend the following formal training courses upon employment as soon as mission permits: Total Quality Management (or equivalent), AS9100:2016 Lead Auditor, and Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent).
