  • Overview

    Responsible for providing supply management assistance to   in the Logistics Support Battalion (LSB) Supply Activity Warehouse and subordinate units.  Assist unit leaders in the planning, preparation, coordination, supervision and conduct of supply operation training. 

    A. Duties/Responsibilities:

    1. Provides technical assistance to the LSB supply accountable officer and Battalion S-4. 
    2. Coach & mentor and assist the LSB supply operations and supply platoon personnel in planning for and executing both garrison and field supply operations.
    3. Assists unit leaders in planning and executing company/platoon supply operation training within the LSB and battalion.
    4. Provides follow up inspections and coordinates retraining in repair parts operations in accordance with MNG regulations and units SOPs. 
    5. Assist company officers in planning, preparation, execution, and assessing the unit supply plan.
    6. Prepares and submits training related reports.
    7. Performs other tasks as required.

    B. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises one Interpreter/Translator. 



    A. Education Level: High School Graduate.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Graduate of either a Senior Leaders Course (Quartermaster school) or a Warrant Officer Quartermaster program. An equivalent combination of college level courses, military and job site experience may be substituted.

    B. Experience: Five years’ experience in a combat or combat support unit performing duties directly relating to organizational level maintenance operations.  General understanding and background in supply operations and Prescribed Load List (PLL) and Authorized Stockage List (ASL) management.

    C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability, requirements: Knowledge of policies, principles, and procedures of supply and supply management.  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.  Be computer literate and proficient in MS Office Suite.  Possess a valid driver's license. Former Warrant officer or Senior NCO.
