  • Overview

    Responsible for the execution of all training conducted within the Company Preview After Action Review station (CPAAR).  Responsible for assisting the Company Commander with observing, coordinating, controlling and monitoring the company level battle during training. Assist the commander during the After Actions Review (AAR) process.  Operates the Computer Generated Forces Computer (CGF) and the Scenario Generation System computer (SGS).

    A. Duties/Responsibilities:

    1. Conducts all Company level training within the CPAAR and Master Instructor Station (MIS).
    2. Designs and operates simulation exercises utilizing the CGF and SGS computers.
    3. Assists the Chief Trainers.
    4. Provides advice and assistance to the Ministry of the National Guard (MNG) units and National Guard Military Schools (NGMS) Instructors on the use of simulators.
    5. Provides tactical and technical advice to MNG Commanders and Operations Officers during company level training.
    6. Provides training and evaluation during simulations training sessions. 
    7. Assist the MNG Training Support Military Doctrine Unit (TSMDU), Simulations Section with maintenance and property accountability of assigned equipment.
    8. Performs other mission and administrative duties as assigned.

    B. Independence: Works under the supervision of the Chief Trainer, MIS.


    C. Supervisory Responsibilities: One Chief, Interpreter/Translator.


    A. Education Level: High School graduate.  Senior Leaders Course Graduate.  AGTS/UCOFT Instructor/Operator Certified. 

    B. Experience:
    Four years of training and operations experience in a mechanized, or armored battalion/brigade. Former non-commissioned officer with leadership experience in an operational unit.


    C. Specific Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements: Knowledgeable of current tactics and gunnery training doctrine.  Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, read and understand technical and training manuals. Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and computer literate.
