  • Overview

    Serves as a Staff Trainer for all matters concerning on flight/ground aviation standardization issues. The Staff Trainer is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordinating and supervising of all current and future command operations, directly supporting the Office of Program Management (Aviation) team to meet the Ministry of the National Guard’s operational requirements.

    A. Duties/responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Aviation Training

    1. Provide executive level expertise and assistance to the Saudi Arabian National Guard General Officers and the operations staff supporting current and future operations within areas aviation standardization and training management. 
    2. Provide the Saudi Arabian National Guard General Officer staff with assessing, developing, coordinating, and preparing current aviation related actions for decision and implementation.
    3. Monitors MNG-AVN standardization programs and serves as the interface between MNG-AVN G-3 and the Brigade.
    4. Primary MNG-AVN G3/5 staff officer responsible for developing MNG-AVN standardization policies for aviation regulations.
    5. Manage the creation, modification and implementation of aviation flight policy, regulations, training documents and procedures.

    B. Independence: Reports to the Director of Aviation Training and coordinates directly with his OPM and MNG counterparts regarding his staff work assignments and priorities.


    C. Supervisory Responsibilities: None


    A. Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.  Master’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of college level courses, military training and job site experience may be substituted.  

    B. Experience: Minimal of 10 years’ experience in an Aviation Standardization role. Former CW5 or CW4 Standardization Instructor Pilot preferred. Former Army Command or HQDA staff officer experience desired.

    C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements desired: Knowledge of policies, principles, and procedures of military staff organization and operations.  Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.  Knowledge of foreign military development and Foreign Military Sales processes.  Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.  Knowledge of pertinent KSA (Labor Law), MNG and OPM-MNG operational procedures concerning job related activities desired.  Proficient in MS Office Professional software required (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook and Publisher).  Possess a valid drivers’ license
