  • Overview

    The Test Coordinator designs, implements and manages Aviation Institute academic testing requirements.

    A. Duties/responsibilities:  


    Plan, develop and assess both manual and automated test content for students in an Academia environment. Responsible for the maintenance and implementation of all testing within the Aviation Institute Division. Responsible for all policies and procedures related to test scheduling, control, validation and management. Perform other duties as assigned and/or directed by management. Coordinate testing with SMEs and section managers.


    B. Independence: Reports to the Aviation Institute Training Manager. Works within the scope and guidelines of customer/client regulations. 


    C. Supervisory Responsibilities: None


    A. Education Level:   

    1. BA required. Preferred Masters in Education or Masters in a relevant field.
    2. Diploma in IT Skills required.

    B. Experience: 

    1. Minimum five years editorial experience in assessment. Teaching experience an advantage.
    2. Diverse computer skills, expert level in MS Office suite, proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint with working knowledge in elearning and LMS software.
    3. Minimum three years test management experience.
    4. Preferred Military/Civilian Aviation experience.

    C. Specific knowledge, skills, ability: Demonstrate a strong understanding of automated testing framework, development and implementation. Ability to create and visualize content for various delivery format. Highly organized, goal-oriented and collaborative. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality and on-time delivery. Expertise in curriculum development, data management, security, and academic examination development. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.  Ability to deal effectively with people in the completion of staff functions.  Ability to effectively communicate with the customer/client in a professional and courteous manner. Possess a valid driver’s license.
